Terms and Conditions
- The person whose name appears on the booking form agrees to take full responsibility for ensuring that all the following conditions of let are adhered to by all members of the party.
- A non-refundable deposit of £75 per week is payable on booking, with the balance payable not later than 6 weeks before your arrival. If a booking is made less than 6 weeks before the start of the holiday, the full rent is payable at the time of booking. Failure to pay the balance at the due date will be construed as a cancellation of the booking and your deposit will not be refunded.
- You will notify us of any cancellation in writing and pay any monies due. If the cottage is relet at the full rate, a full refund less the deposit referred to above will be made. If it is relet at a lesser rate, a partial refund will be made. If not relet, no refund will be made.
- The number of persons occupying the cottage must not exceed that stated on the website.
- You use the cottage solely for its purpose as self-catering holiday cottage and accept the owners’ right to refuse to hand over the cottage to any person deemed unsuitable to take charge. Causing a nuisance or disturbance to neighbours or any unreasonable behaviour may result in the owners asking guests to leave.
- No smoking is permitted within the cottage.
- Dogs must be kept under control at all times. They must not be left alone inside the cottage, nor allowed on the beds or other furniture or to relieve themselves in the garden. All dog waste must be bagged and binned.
- The owners or their representative will be allowed access to the cottage at all reasonable times.
- You are expected to leave the cottage in a clean and tidy condition as found on arrival. You are also responsible for the cost of any damage done to the cottage and its contents, and for notifying the owners of any breakages or damage as soon as possible. A cleaning charge of £25 may be made if you leave the cottage in a dirty condition.
- The use of the cottage and amenities is entirely at the risk of those occupying the cottage and the owners accept no responsibility for personal injury to guests or for loss or damage to guests’ belongings. The owners accept no responsibility for loss or damage to any car or its contents or any bicycle.
- Should the cottage become unavailable through any cause, the owners’ liability is limited to the amount of rent paid.
- While all information regarding the cottage and its amenities is believed to be accurate, the owners cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies beyond the owners’ reasonable control.
